We’re incredibly excited to be gathering as a church for a weekend away in 2027. On this page we’ve put together everything we think you’ll need to know.
Our weekend will take place in the middle weekend of the Birmingham Easter school holidays; Friday 2nd to Sunday 4th April 2027.

Location
The Hayes Christian Conference Centre, Derbyshire
The Christian Conference Trust run multiple venues across the UK which are perfectly setup for church weekends away. Situated in beautiful Derbyshire, The Hayes is the ideal location for our weekend away. The centre boasts a range of wonderful meeting spaces, accommodation for up to 400 people, and 100 acres of grounds to explore. We’ve got exclusive use of the whole site for the weekend with loads of space for gathering, spending time with others, or taking time to yourself.
It takes just over an hour to drive from Sutton Coldfield to The Hayes.
What’s Included
Our booking with The Hayes includes the following for each person:
- Accommodation (all ensuite)
- Breakfast, lunch and dinner
- Morning coffee with biscuits, afternoon tea with cake
- Onsite parking
Accommodation
The Hayes has an excellent mix of accommodation options to suit everyone and all rooms are ensuite.
- Single rooms (limited availability, £15 supplement applies)
- Double rooms
- Twin rooms
- Family rooms (either 1 double and 1 single, or 1 double and 2 singles, additional beds can be provided)
The quantity of single rooms at The Hayes is very limited, we are encouraging people to talk to friends with whom they could share a room.

Pricing
We want to ensure cost is no barrier to anyone being able to come along. Below we’ve listed pricing, if cost is a barrier please speak to a member of the staff team in confidence.
- Adults – £147
- Under 25’s – £128
- Under 18’s – £10
- Under 5’s – Free
- £15 extra for a single bedroom
Book In
If you’re ready to book click the link below to complete a short form and provide us with a few key details. On the form you can specify whether you’d like to be invoiced for the whole amount, or whether you’d like it to be split with someone else. Once we’ve received your form we’ll be back in touch to confirm and issue an invoice.
You’ll need to pay an initial deposit of £10 per person within 30 days. The remaining balance can be paid in any instalment up to 30th November 2026.
