Thy Kingdom Come is a global prayer movement that invites Christians around the world to pray for more people to come to know Jesus. It started in 2016 as an invitation from the Archbishops of Canterbury and York to the Church of England and has grown into a worldwide call to prayer and we as a church will be joining in with them to carry on our prayer for those who don’t yet know Jesus.

From Monday 14th – Sunday 20th May, we want to encourage us to be praying for those who don’t yet know Jesus. And to help with this, we will be refreshing the prayer room and would like as many people to book in for a slot during that time. The prayer room will have lots of aids to prayer and lots of things to do for all ages to help us to connect with God and pray for the lost.

We would also like to pray for the specific needs of our community whilst in the Prayer Room, and so have two ways you could gather prayer requests for us:

  • Give Prayer postcards to friends / neighbours, asking them to let us know their requests (or post them through doors on your street.
  • If you work for a local service, business etc, or have links with them let us know their specific prayer requests for their school/home/police/doctors surgery/ambulance service etc.

Join with us by booking in to the prayer room for a slot as:

  • An individual
  • A group of friends
  • A small group
  • Activity leaders who want to pray for their activity to bear fruit
  • Families
  • An existing prayer group

To book your slot, you can go on line by using this link:

Alternatively, you can book in via the church office or the welcome desk on a Sunday.
